Gunfire Games' Remnant 2 has more than its fair share of puzzles and safes that contain an array of weapons, items, and tools that players can use to their advantage as they explore the game's ever-changing worlds. In the Tiller's Rest area of Losomn, players with a keen eye will discover a crawl space among the sewers of the Iron Boroughs that leads to a room a safe.
The combination for the safe in Tiller's Rest is hidden on the walls of the room where the chest is located. Once Remnant 2 players have an understanding of how to identify the correct numbers and their sequences, it is a relatively simple puzzle. Here is how to crack the code of the Tiller's Rest safe and grab the prize within.
How To Get The Tiller's Rest Safe Code
The Tiller's Rest safe is found in a crawl space tucked in the right-hand corner of the second area of Tiller's Rest. This can be accessed once passing the first blocked passageway, past the crazed man behind bars. Once players climb down from the raised platform and onto the main passageway of the second area, they will need to walk ahead until they reach a dead-end and climb the ledge to the right. From there, there is an open space on the left for players to crawl through to enter the room where the Tiller's Rest safe is.
Players will notice that there is a four-digit code next to the safe with one number that is glowing. This is a hint as to how to find the correct code, as the glowing number indicates that this is one of the code's numbers. As the game randomly generates the codes, this article won't contain the correct code for another player, but it will guide players on how to locate the specific code to their safe.
The walls around the room are covered in numbers, which makes it difficult to identify which are the correct ones. However, players need only turn on their flashlight using the up-directional button to identify the numbers, evident by their yellow glow. The location of the numbers is as follows;
- First number - next to the safe
- Second number - found by climbing the ledge behind the safe, turning right to the alcove, and destroying the wooden pallet covering the wall.
- Third number - after finding the second number, turn to the wall to the left and smash through the pallet again.
- Fourth number - shine the flashlight on the upper wall opposite the safe.
The other important factor in this puzzle is the positioning of the numbers in their sequences on the wall. Each number is positioned in the same order that it is on the safe. For example, if the number is 9645 and the number four is glowing, the third number on the code will be the number four.
