One brave Diablo 4 player managed to beat a Level 100 Nightmare Dungeon using a Level 75 Sorcerer. Not only this achievement is impressive because of the character’s level, but also because Sorcerers are not considered a very strong class in the game, to the point that Sorcerers will be buffed in Diablo 4’s 1.1.1 update.

Diablo 4 is currently in its first season, known as Season of the Malignant. While most players were originally hyped to see the new content, this sentiment quickly turned sour after they saw how most of the game’s builds were nerfed in the season. The backlash was so severe that even prominent figures such as streamer Asmongold said that they would quit Diablo 4. According to Asmongold, the updates made the game boring, and he was not having fun anymore. However, there seem to be a few players that are still defying Diablo 4’s difficulty and attaining incredible feats.

Diablo 4 player Eses- has recently shared a video in which their character, a Level 75 Conjuration Sorcerer, completes Garan Hold in its Level 100 Nightmare Dungeon version. The whole video is around 18 minutes and showcases how the gamer was able to achieve the victory, which mostly involves running around and spamming attacks with impeccable timing to remain alive.

In the comments of the Reddit post, gamers had a pretty diverse reaction to Eses-’s victory, ranging from being impressed, to joking Sorcerers were too powerful and needed a nerf. Emrullah-Enes, for instance, said they could not finish some Nightmare Dungeons in Diablo 4 even with their Level 100 Barbarian, so this was a pretty impressive feat. Rude_Professional101, however, claimed that Hydra is a bugged ability, and that’s the only reason why the OP was able to win. While Blizzard never officially claimed that the ability does not work as intended, Hydra does scale with enemy level instead of player level, which is probably why Eses- was able to survive, despite the level differences.

Amid so many discussions about how challenging and balanced Diablo 4 is right now, Blizzard recently revealed some good news for players struggling with the final boss. One of the game’s devs confirmed that Lilith won't be more difficult in Diablo 4's patch 1.1.1. Hopefully, the decision will make the gamer smoother for people who are struggling with difficulty issues or don’t have such impressive builds as the one created by Eses-.

Diablo 4 is currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
