There are many gamers who have been playing Skyrim for over a decade, and now one such fan has managed to unlock all the skill points in the game. Reddit user einfachnhurchris, who first played the game in January 2012, claims to have unlocked all the skills in Skyrim in a vanilla save on legendary difficulty without using any mods. Needless to say, this requires a serious time investment and is not something most gamers will likely ever do in the game.
According to the Reddit user, they had about 90 hours on their Skyrim save file in which they accomplished this, but while they didn't use any mods, they did admit to abusing some of the game's known exploits to get all skills to max level. Skyrim has all kinds of exploits that players can utilize to get an advantage, and without them, such a feat would take a significantly longer amount of time.
Some would argue that exploits and figuring out ways to break the game is really part of the experience when it comes to a Bethesda open world RPG, and it will be interesting to see if the upcoming Starfield has any for fans to discover. It's been said that Starfield will have the least amount of bugs out of any Bethesda game on launch day, which could mean that it doesn't have nearly as many exploits as Skyrim, though that remains to be seen.
Starfield's release date is nearly here, and it's safe to say that many people who are still playing Skyrim will take a break from the game to check out Bethesda's latest open world single-player RPG. Time will tell if Starfield has the same kind of massive impact on the industry as Skyrim has, but fans will find out in a month's time.
