A dedicated Minecraft player spent hours building a giant tower inspired by the Mausoleum from Dark Souls 3’s Ringed City DLC. This impressive creation should make Dark Souls 3 players nostalgic and proves once again the flexibility Minecraft offers for creative players who want to build famous landscapes in this sandbox game.

Ever since its initial release in 2011, Minecraft has been giving players the tool they require to build almost anything they could dream of. Some inspired Minecraft players recreated Savathun's Throne World from Destiny 2's The Witch Queen expansion or a Covenant battleship from Halo, while others build courses for sheep races or a gigantic highway crossing an entire map. Minecraft players regularly share their creations online, showcasing their hard work to the community and inspiring others to build their own creations.

A creative Minecraft player known as Throw-away-9876543 on Reddit shared pictures of their latest project, asking the community to figure out their inspiration for it. Reddit users quickly found out that this Minecraft building was inspired by the Mausoleum from Dark Souls 3’s Ringed City DLC, one of the most beautiful locations from a Soulsborne game. This dedicated Minecraft player spent over 50 hours building this massive tower which looks just like it does in Dark Souls 3. Besides its remarkable exterior, this Mausoleum replica also features various candlelit rooms for players to explore.

Dark Souls 3 players immediately recognized this Mausoleum, which appears on the cover for the Ringed City, the second and final DLC for the game. They were impressed by the realism of this replica, especially considering the level of detail required and how complicated it is to create with blocks. Those who never played Dark Souls 3 mistook this creation for a replica of other popular towers in video games, such as the Akkala Citadel from The Legend of Zelda series, Final Fantasy 9’s Lindblum, the Eyrie from Game of Thrones, or any building from The Lord of the Ring.

To keep its playerbase entertained, Mojang Studios regularly publish new content for Minecraft players. Last April, the studio released Minecraft Legends, an action strategy game based on the popular Minecraft universe. For those who would rather stay in the original sandbox game, Minecraft is crossing over with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to celebrate the movie’s recent release in theaters. This crossover brings various texture packs, 20 character skins inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and iconic enemies like Shredder and Krang.

Minecraft is available on multiple platforms, including PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Android and iOS devices.
