An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has designed a Star Wars Tatooine setting for Cephalobot. With a catalog full of unique items, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players can build a variety of settings for their villagers, and this one draws inspiration from Star Wars.

New Horizons expanded upon the existing Animal Crossing community by reaching a massive portion of the Switch player base. Since Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released, players have shared unique islands themed around Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Ace Attorney, and Jurassic Park. Going beyond the island template, some players also use their houses as a canvas for their artistic expression. Using a villager's house to nail the Star Wars theme, one player has accurately reflected the sand planet Tatooine on their Animal Crossing: New Horizons island.

Reddit user Coolerversionofmyslf recently shared a screenshot from their Animal Crossing: New Horizons island that features a section themed around Star Wars. This portion of the island is covered in sand to resemble Tatooine, and it has three height levels to reflect the mountainous nature of the planet. Cephalobot's house is a hut that resembles Ben Kenobi's house, and it's flanked by two moons that are meant to be the suns of Tatooine. A damaged tank is placed beside a utility pole to add the rustic industrial feel of Tatooine to the Animal Crossing: New Horizons island. According to Coolerversionofmyslf, their Tatooine section of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons island is designated for Cephalobot alone.

Some additional Animal Crossing: New Horizons items used in the Tatooine setting include a tin robot, stone table, campfire cookware, oil-barrel bathtub, sand castle, utility wagon, tiki torches, throwback rockets, oil barrels, stalls, milk cans, meter and pipes, glowing moss jars, wooden boxes, and tourist telescopes. With one player stating that New Horizons' Gyroids would add to their Tatooine theme, Coolerversionofmyslf hinted that they may add to the design. Not taking inspiration from any specific part of Tatooine, Coolerversionofmyslf stated that their island design takes aspects of different parts of the Star Wars planet.

Cephalobot may be the perfect villager to base the Tatooine setting around given his robotic look and the Ben Kenobi-like house. Because Coolerversionofmyslf hasn't elaborated on the process of making the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Tatooine, it's currently unclear how long the creation took. Given that there are some rare Animal Crossing: New Horizons items in the setting, it may take a while to acquire the pieces to replicate Coolerversionofmyslf's Tatooine.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is available now for Nintendo Switch.
