Baldur's Gate 3 is a Dungeon and Dragons-based RPG. Players can create their own characters and delve deep into the world of Faerun. Numerous choices await the player, from who to help and who to betray, who to get for their team, and who to romance. One of the several possible romanceable characters in Baldur's Gate 3 is Minthara, a Drow Paladin who can either become a friend or a foe depending on the player's choices. Players first come across this lady elf during the Shattered Sanctum in Act 1.
How to Romance Minthara in Baldur's Gate 3
Unfortunately for players, romancing Minthara has some pretty big consequences for their party. If players want Minthara, they will have to betray the Tieflings and the Druids and side with the Goblin army. This will cause a lot of problems between the main character and Wyll and Halsin.
This romance isn't possible unless the player is ready to make a whole lot of somewhat evil decisions, but for some, it might be worth it in the end.
When entering the Shattered Sanctum, players will need to use their wits to avoid getting into any fights with goblins or hobgoblins along the way. Once players meet up with Minthara, they need to avoid saying anything about killing her, give her the location of the Grove, and agree to help with her raid of the Druids Grove. Join her and the goblins to take down the Tielfings and Druids.
When given the option, choose the first option: Obey and open the gate for Minthara and her goblin army.
Once the Druids Grove has been destroyed, players can return to the Secluded Chamber. Minthara will be there, and she will agree to meet the player at their camp.
At camp, when speaking to her, tell her, "Yes, I'm yours, Minthara." Then, that night, when players click on their bedroll, they can choose to spend time with Minthara.
Select "Do as she says" for the next prompt. After that, choose "I want you." Minthara will join the player in their bunk, and a romance scene will play. However, if players don't want to be attacked by her afterward, they need to "Search for her desires" with a Persuasion check.
And this is currently how players can romance Minthara in Early Access. This may change when the game is released in August 2023.
