The Cathedral of Omens is an area within Remnant 2's Yaesha region, and it is home to a large metal apparatus. This apparatus can be manipulated in several ways, and it acts as a puzzle with a variety of solutions. For those players that may be struggling to solve the Cathedral of Omens puzzle in Remnant 2, this guide contains details on exactly how to approach the metal device.
Remnant 2: How to Solve Cathedral of Omens Puzzles
To begin, it is important to establish that there are three levers the surround the metal apparatus, and they each alter the device in a specific way. Here is information on what those levers do, and Soulslike fans may want to spend some time familiarizing themselves with them:
- Lever at Entrance: Rotates the layer with the triangle and two circles.
- Lever to Left of Entrance: Rotates the layer with two circles.
- Lever to Right of Entrance: Rotates the layer with symbols.
Players must now set their sights on using these levers to create specific patterns on the ground beneath the device. To determine what those patterns are, fans of dark action RPGs are to use a book in the library that is attached to the puzzle room, and this is where things start to get complicated. In fact, the best way to explain this process is with an example, and the Calamity page will be used for that purpose.

The Calamity
The first text-heavy page of the book references the Calamity, and there is a triangle at the top. Fans of third-person shooters will also see that the Ravager, Death, and Doe are referenced on the Calamity page, and they can see the symbols that correspond to those "actors" by flipping to the left.
Players can now set their sights on solving the puzzle, and that is done by fulfilling these requirements:
- The triangle shadow matches the triangle above the door when looking at it from across the room.
- The shadows of the Ravager, Death, and Doe have circle shadows around them.
- Death is above the triangle, as indicated by the book.
To fulfill those requirements, Remnant 2 players should begin by using the lever at the entrance to rotate the triangle shadow until it matches the triangle above the door across the room. For full clarity, this will make the triangle point toward the left, and the two attached shadow circles will be directly across from one another.
Since the positions of those two shadow circles are fixed, players will know that two of the actors must be moved into them. Fortunately, the symbols for the Ravager and Doe are also directly across from one another, and fans of adventure games should use the lever to the right of the entrance to move the Doe to the position at the entrance to the puzzle room. This will put the Ravager in front of the Calamity door and Death above the triangle, as is required.
All that is left to do now is use the lever to the left of the entrance to put a circle shadow around Death. Notably, this movement will also put a second circle around the Doe, and fans of loot games will be free to pass through the door and collect the Faith Seed Crafting Material when it is done.
The Blood Moon

- The shadows of the Moon, Ravager, and Sun have circle shadows around them.
- The Ravager is below the triangle.
There is a trap door in front of the chests that can be opened by solving the Calamity door puzzle in Remnant 2 when a Blood Moon is active.
The Hope
The Hope door is the one through which players entered the puzzle room. While this door is already open, fans of co-op games can make a pedestal with the Sagittarius Long Gun appear in the center of the room by fulfilling these requirements:
- The triangle shadow matches the triangle above the door when looking at it from across the room.
- The shadows of the Doe, Life, Sun, and Ravager have circle shadows around them.
- Life and Sun are below the triangle.
