As players explore the world of N'Erud in Remnant 2, they may stumble across some coffin-like pods on the Abyssal Rift, Eon Vault, Phantom Wasteland, and Timeless Horizon maps. While these pods will only beep when they are interacted with initially, it is possible to open them and claim the rewards that are inside. This guide is here to explain how to open the N'Erud coffins in Remnant 2, and it will help players get their hands on several unique items, including the Star Shot handgun.
Remnant 2: How to Open N'Erud Coffins (Abyssal Rift, Eon Vault, Phantom Wasteland, & Timeless Horizon)
There are two steps to opening the N'Erud pods, and they can be completed in any order. Details on those steps can be found below, and Remnant 2 players should be prepared to spend a considerable amount of time pursuing them.
The coffin event will not occur on every roll of N'Erud. Indeed, players may need to re-roll their campaigns (or N'Erud on Adventure Mode) several times before seeing these pods on one of the aforementioned maps.
Activate the Pods
When the pod event is available, there will be a total of five coffins scattered across the map, and players that want to claim the Star Shot handgun in Remnant 2 will need to find and activate them all. Unfortunately, it is not possible to direct readers to the precise positions of the pods, as their locations are seemingly randomized. Players will thus need to perform a very thorough search of this map in order to track down all five coffins, and they should make sure to check the tops of the rock plateaus that are found throughout the area.
Activate the Supply Ship
On the map with the pods, players should find an elevator that leads into a large silo. There is an entrance into the Dark Conduit dungeon within that silo, and Soulslike fans should locate the large generator that is within it. Interacting with the fuses that are inserted into that generator will restore power to the device, and players should exit the Dark Conduit and interact with the console by the entrance to activate a large Supply Ship when that job is done.
Rewards
Once the Supply Ship has power, it will pick up all the pods that were previously activated and any pods that are activated thereafter. The open pods can then be found on the bottom level of the silo, and each one contains an item. Specifically, those items are Scrap, Iron, the Galvanized Resupply Band ring, the Difference Engine amulet, and the Star Shot handgun, and fans of dark action RPGs will receive them in that order.
