Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 231 dropped recently and it finally saw the fight between Sukuna and Gojo Satoru progress towards its climax. For the longest time, this fight has been moving back and forth without any solid indication as to who is going to emerge victorious. While that hasn't changed, the fight is finally starting to move towards its end, as was confirmed by both Satoru and Sukuna themselves and that is something Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 could focus on more.
In the previous chapter, fans got to see the adaptation process to Limitless finally begin for Sukuna and a timer has officially been set on Gojo to end the fight before that happens. From here onwards, the clash is going to be like a game of chess, where both of these fighters will have to play their cards very carefully.
Sukuna's Adaptation
In the previous chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, fans got to see Sukuna get used to Gojo's Limitless technique slowly. While the adaptation process has not yet been completed, it is well and underway. According to Satoru himself, Sukuna needs a total of four spins of the wheel to get fully adapted to Limitless. So far, the wheel has only turned once and this means there is officially a timer on this fight now. Gojo, if he wants to win this battle to become the strongest sorcerer of all time officially, Will have to end this fight before the wheel turns three more times. If he succeeds in doing that, he will be the undisputed strongest of all time and avert a great calamity. If he fails, he will most certainly either be dead or in a near-death situation and the story will get even more complicated, given that there is nobody else left to face the threat that Sukuna poses.
If Gojo Satoru cannot stop Sukuna, then no one else can. The fight is only going to get trickier from here onwards for both of these fighters and fans are eagerly waiting in anticipation to see who would come out on top. Right now, Sukuna seems to be the one who has more of an advantage, despite seemingly being weaker than Gojo by a long shot. The fact is, that he has Mahoraga aiding him in battle and that certainly is a very big advantage for him. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 will likely showcase that Gojo is walking a very tightrope at the moment.
Gojo's Next Trick
Of course, Gojo is a genius when it comes to combat and certainly a man worthy of being called the strongest. Even in the previous chapter, he was able to deduce how many spins he has left quite easily. This means Gojo has certainly got a plan for himself and even if he doesn't, he can create one on the spot, given that his battle intellect is actually very high. Gojo is certainly more than capable of taking on Sukuna head-on and surprising him with a completely new ability.
In the previous chapter, Sukuna noticed that Gojo is only using the basic techniques of his Limitless to avoid the adaptation process. At the same time, Gojo noticed that whenever Sukuna has to use Domain Amplification to bypass Limitless, he cannot utilize the adaptation of Mahoraga. This gives Gojo a window to launch his powerful attacks. Furthermore, it was also mentioned in the previous chapter that every strike from Gojo counts as a critical hit, and given that he is able to get plenty of those across, Sukuna should be taking more damage than Gojo at this point. Perhaps, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 will focus on that aspect of the battle and shift the tides in favor of Gojo Satoru.
The matter of fact is that, at this point, Gojo certainly is the stronger one of the two. In fact, throughout the fight, Gojo has been the stronger one despite Sukuna having help in the form of Mahoraga. What's more, Sukuna is also holding Megumi hostage in a way that prevents Gojo from truly going all out. After all, Gojo would not want to kill his student, and saving him is the goal here. Had Sukuna been in his own body, the fight would have been over and Gojo would have been declared the winner long ago.
Gojo is fighting with a handicap and that handicap seems to be getting more and more prominent as the story moves forward. Gojo will definitely have to come up with a better plan to deal with Sukuna, given that he only has three more spins of the wheel left. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 will likely see Gojo rely on counterattacks to avoid these spins and hope that he is doing enough damage to heavily injure Sukuna. For what it's worth, Gojo looks more than confident that he can certainly win this fight and that is certainly reassuring for all the fans.
More Wheel Turns
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 will surely see the fight progress more towards its conclusion. In the previous chapter, fans got to see the climax of the fight begin as Gege Akutami put a timer on it. With three more spins of the wheel left, the fight is now going to edge closer to its end and likely conclude within the next three or four chapters. Fans will likely see the wheel spin more in the next chapter, at least one time. This would mean that Gojo would only have two more spins left before he has to finish off Sukuna and that would only serve to increase the tension of the fight even more. Fans have been thoroughly enjoying this clash of the strongest in Jujutsu Kaisen and it is only going to get better from here onwards as these two powerhouses collide with each other one more time.
At the end of the day, Gojo might not be able to defeat Sukuna, despite being the stronger one of the two. This is simply down to the fact that he has way too many handicaps placed on him and is running low on time as well. Regardless of what ends up happening, fans hope that Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 232 lives up to the expectations and delivers something intriguing. While the previous chapter was certainly enjoyable, fans would certainly like it if the story amps up the intensity even more. With a few more spins of the wheel, this can certainly be accomplished and that is precisely what could end up happening in the next chapter.
